Half a crust end of a wholemeal loaf (sliced into three soldiers)
Tomato puree or garlic puree
Olive oil or margarine
Oregano or thyme

1. Squeeze a small amount of puree into a mug and add the oil and herbs. Mix thoroughly.
2. Spread a generous amount onto the individual sticks of crust.
3. Grease up a baking tray and preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6.
4. Place the sticks on the tray and place in the oven.
5. Bake for approx. 20-40 minutes (this depends on what type of bread you are using).
6. Once crispy and the tomato/garlic has browned slightly, remove and allow to cool. They should be very crunchy with a little bit of chewiness, they are perfect if your little one is teething! My son loves them.
